Notes: Locust Hill Cemetery was originally known as Berthold Cemetery after the name of the original land owner. It was later called Belcher Cemetery after a later land owner and is currently called Locust Hill Cemetery. It is located on the east side of Kings Highway in the Town of Warwick, Orange County, New York about 1/8th of a mile south of Belcher Road. The cemetery is no longer in use, but is well maintained. It is situated immediately adjacent to Kings Highway. The cemetery is small and can be walked in about ½ an hour. Stones go back to the early 1800’s and include several civil war soldiers.
