He was 80. He was born Sept. 9, 1924, in Shinhopple, the son of Orley J. and Jenny (Decker) Wormsley. He married Frances Louise Davis on June 30, 1944, in Roscoe. Mrs. Wormsley died Feb. 8, 2005. A lifelong area resident, Orley worked for the Bendix Corporation for 35 years as a truck driver until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Retired Aerospace Workers of America. Orley is survived by three children, William (Diane), Jalna Rudolph and Robert (Tracy); a daughter-in-law, Bobbie Wormsley; his grandchildren, Michael Rudolph Jr. (Amy), Mark Rudolph (Alonna), Patai Wormsley, Tonya Peterman, Christopher Wormsley (Haley) and Erin Wormsley; five great-grandchildren, Taylor and Alexis Peterman, Benjamin Rudolph, Matthew Rudolph and Isaiah Wormsley. He is also survived by a sister, Ann Fredenburg of Otego; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; two sons, (John, who died April 12, 2005, and Clarence, who died in infancy); his twin brother, Warren Wormsley; and two sisters, Ruth Banks and Margaret McAdams. A graveside committal service for Orley J. Wormsley and Frances L. Wormsley will be held in the Long Flats Cemetery in Downsville at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours . . . " [2]
