Frank T. Gardner - Maybrook
Frank T. Gardner, 73, of 816 Homestead Ave., Maybrook, diedTuesday in Goshen Hospital after a short illness.
Born in Middletown, June 19, 1892, he was the son ofWilliam J. and Minnie Gibbs (Should have been Knibbs)Gardner. He married Lillian Truex.
A 40-year resident of Maybrook, he had been a switch-manfor the New Haven Railroad for 45 years. He was a memberof the First Congregational Church of Middletown and theBrotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are a son, Melvin of Maybrook, a brother, Fred ofMiddletown, one grandson, Douglas and a granddaughter,Deborah, both of Maybrook; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 Friday at the Ralston FuneralHome, Middletown, with the Rev. Stephen Bachelderofficiating. Burial will be in Wallkill Cemetery,Phillipsburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9.The Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen will conduct servicesThursday evening at 7:30. [2]
