COBB, JEMIMA ALEXANDRA FLEMING "INA" 89 - On January 22,2011 surrounded by her family, passed into the Lord'sloving care. Born in Invergowrie, Scotland, she was raisedin Dundee. She was a graduate of the Morgan Academy. DuringWorld War II she served in the British Army. While in theservice, she met and married an American GI. After arrivingin the USA as a war bride, she lived in Avalon, NJ. Ina wasactive in the Avalon Methodist Church, the PTA, and servedon the school board. Before retirement, she was employedwith Tozour-Kerr Builders. Recently she resided at WileyChristian Retirement Community. She was a member of theFirst United Methodist Church of Moorestown.
Daughter of the late John Muggins Fleming and Maria SeathFleming, she was preceded in death by her husband, ChesterL Cobb Jr., formerly of Avalon. Left to cherish hermemories are a brother and sister-in-law, James and MayFleming of Monifieth, Scotland; a brother-in-law, NormanCobb of Avalon, NJ; a son Robert Cobb and his wife Judith,of Ewing, NJ; a daughter Jacalyn Diepold and her husbandJohn, of Moorestown, NJ; four grandchildren: Stuart Cobb,Molly Cobb Fallon, Julia Diepold Snyder, and JeffreyDiepold; and one great-grandson, Parker Robert Fallon.
Ina enjoyed walking, traveling, knitting, reading,crossword puzzles and church, but most of all her familyand friends. She will be remembered for her easy smile,friendly nature, generosity, intelligence, andthoughtfulness.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28th at10AM, following a 9AM viewing at the First United MethodistChurch of Moorestown.
