Sanno, 87, Spanish American War Veteran, diedSaturday at his home at 1121 Lincoln Avenue. Funeralservices will be conducted at the Holland and BonineFuneral Home at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Mr. Sanno was born Jan. 26,1873, at Fort Shaw. He came toHavre in 1900 and homesteaded south of here where thepresent Jack Ellis ranch is now located. He also ranchednear Landusky. At one time he was an express messenger forthe Great Northern Railway Company. He was a Spanish American War veteran, serving with Troop Kof the Second Regular Vavalry. He enlisted on May 2, 1898and was discharged on Oct. 10, 1898 at Huntsville, Ala. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Harris Pendleton, Jr.,San Antonio, Texas and Mrs. James Hornbrook, Los Angeles,Calif. [2]
