Morton Funeral
LIBERTY – Funeral was held yesterday afternoon for Charles B. Morton, eighty-two, at one time owner of Liberty's largest livery stable. Burial was in the Liberty cemetery. The survivors include a son, Leland of Liberty and a daughter, Pearl, also of Liberty and a daughter in Chicago. Mr. Morton was born in Liberty and always made his home in the village.

LIBERTY – Charles Morton, for many years a liveryman here, died Sunday night at his home after several weeks of illness from pneumonia. Relatives include a son, Leland, and two daughters. [1]
