NB This census was taken in what appears to be a very large(19 pages with up to 50 names to a page) religious andteaching community. Not clear what it is. Members are ofmixed religious and ethnic backgrounds though most areRoman Catholic and French. There is also a male religiousorder here though the over Head is a "Cultivateur"(Gardener or Market Gardener), and he and his family arePresbyterian.

Notes |
- (Research):From Ralph D. Sprague, correspondent, note of February 21,2012
The 1901 census I quoted for this ID looks to have takenher at school in Laval.
The census shows her birth date as 23 Aout (August) 1889.It has her as Presbyterian and ethnic English Canadian.
No doubt the name mis-spelling was made by a Francophonecensus taker. From what I see the school was run by nuns inSault-au-Récollet, Laval. The school or some evolutionexists today.
I have often found that someone who is away at school toappear twice in a census. [2]
