Funeral arrangements will beannounced later. Page 24, Thursday, November 10, 1955 The Chronicle-Herald,Halifax, N.S. Mourn Death of C. W. Sprague A former well-known Halifax businessman, Charles WesleySprague, died yesterday morning at the home of hisdaughter, Mrs. Roy W. Boland, Woodlawn, at the age of 84years. Mr. Sprague founded the Globe Laundry in the City andoperated this business for many years retiring as itspresident in 1947. Mr. Sprague was a member of First Baptist Church, of theMasonic Order, the Knights of Pythias and the IndependentOrder of Oddfellows. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, two daughters, Doris(Mrs. K.A. Parsons), Amherst; Eunice (Mrs. Roland); oneson, Gilbert W., Dartmouth; five grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren. The remains will rest at Cruickshank's Funeral Home withthe Funeral to be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeralhome. Interment will be in Camp Hill cemetery.
