  Notes	From Jane Sanderman Mason, correspondent, note of October 7, 2008 In his 1974 family history son Moulton states his maternal grandmother was a Fischer who lived in the same area, was living at the time of Moulton's first child's birth c1922, died before her husband. Moulton states his maternal grandmother was a Fischer so this would imply that Fischer is Anna's maiden name. [1]

  	From Jane Sanderman Mason, correspondent, note of October 7th, 2008 This is a perfect example of why a census search can be so valuable. There are two daughters who were born after 1900 but are not in the 1920 census. I would never have known about them except for their brother's obituary. They would be in the 1910 census with their family. Also, the database mentions a Maribelle, SDB#14320. I find no record of her. Could she be the Mildred A. born Oct1894? I do not find Mildred after 1900 but then again, no 1910 census. The 1974 family history that Moulton wrote is wonderful but also throws in a little confusion He documents mother Anna was married before and the Mildred of the 1900 census is a step-daughter. He mentions a step-daughter Selma with the implication that she is living but there is no Selma in the 1900 census. There is a Selma in the Oregon Delayed Birth Index. Could Selma have been living with other family in 1900? Or.....you can go on like this forever. Moulton states "there were seven children in our family counting my two half-sisters". This could be Moulton, Leona, Melvina, Alvin and Albert plus Mildred and Selma. The SDB indicates an infant born/died between 1905 and 1911 so number eight. In the 1900 census Anna indicates another child who has died before 1900 but no way of knowing if that child was a Sprague. [1]
