Born in Otter Brook, he was a son of thelate Grant and Maryann (Smith) Cox. He was a mill workerall of his working life with Blaikie Bros., UpperStewiacke, and later with Brookfield Lumber Co. He was amember of Upper Stewiacke United Church and was a formercounty councillor for the Municipality of Colchester forsix years. Surviving are his wife, the former JeanBlaikie; daughters, Shirley (Mrs. Gilbert White), BibleHill; Berna Faust, Milton, Fla.; Velda (Mrs. VictorLewicki), Lawrencetown; sons, Victor, North Vancouver,B.C.; Bruce, Truro; Ian, Kentville; sisters, JeanDeyarmond, Musquodoboit; Avis Sullivan, Onslow; brothers,Frank, Otter Brook; Neil, Elrose, Sask.; 11 grandchildren;four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Hewas predeceased by daughters, Maxine Ruth, Helen Noreen;sisters, Martha, Mabel; brother, Roland (Bub). Visitation2-4 p.m. today, funeral 4 p.m. Sunday, both in MattatallFuneral Home, Trurp, Rev.
