Tiger Fork-In Bethel Township on Section 3, Township 59N,Range 9W. It was named for the Tiger Fork of North River,which was so called because of the two panthers or "tigers"killed in the winter of 1835 along this stream.

Brother Paul R. Sprague, a member of Morning Star Lodge No.10, F. & A.M, passed away on Thursday, July 14 at his home.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 18 at 1:30 P.M. atthe Old Stone Church, Rockton, Ill., with the Rev. RankinShrewsbury, officiating.
Masonic services were conducted Sunday, July 17 at 8:00P.M. at Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Central Chapel by W. M.Brother Lester W. Piedlow and assisted by Brother Arthur R.Karstaedt, Chaplain.
Burial was in Rockton cemetery.

ROCKTON--Services for Paul R. Sprague, 70, 305 W. FranklinSt., owner-operator of Radio Doctor Shop who died Thursdaynight in his home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Old StoneChurch. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Friends maycall in Chilson Funeral Home, Beloit, Wis., from 7 to 8:30p.m. Sunday.
Masonic rites will be at 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
He was a radio and television repairman in Rockton andRockford for 37 years.
Survivors include four brothers, including Maurice, Beloit,and three sisters, Mrs. Dale Thompson and Mrs. MelEvanson, both of Beloit, and Mrs. Don Wingert, Rockton.

ROCKTON--Paul R. Sprague, 70, of 305 W. Franklin St., diedunexpectedly Thursday evening at home.
The son of Harold and Annabelle Sprague was born Aug. 31,1895, in Shelby County, Mo. He formerly owned and operatedThe Radio Doctor in Rocton. Mr. Sprague married Hazel L.Arwood in 1917 in Beloit.
A Verterans (sic) of World War I, he was a member of theRockton American Legion, Rockton Lodge, 74, F&AM and OldStone Church.
Surviving are four brothers, Maurice of Beloit, Ralph B. ofVan Nuys, Calif., Earl E. of Daytona Beach, Fla, and ClaudeM. of San Barnadino, Califrl, and three sisters, Mrs. Dale(Gladys) Thompson of Beloit, Mrs. Don (Marjorie) Wingert ofRockton and Mrs. Mel (Mildred) Evenson of Belit. He waspredeceased by a sister.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Old Stone Church,the Rev. Rankin Shrewsbury officiating. Friends may callfrom 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Childon Funeral Home. Burialwill be in Rockton Cemetery.

Spragues Observe 55th Anniversary Nest Sun.
Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Sprague will observe their 55th weddinganniversary Sunday. They were married in Shelby County,Missouri, on Dec. 11/ 1894. For the past 22 years theyhave resided in Rockton.
Mr. and Mrs. Sprague plan to spend the day with their sonand daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Sprague ofBeloit, who will be observing their 30th weddinganniversary. [5, 6]
