Eaton County Deaths - Milton Sprague
Milton Sprague, 75, retired farmer and lifelongVermontville area resident, died Thursday morning, May 31,1962, in a Lansing convalescent home. He is survived by thewidow, the former Grace Eager of Howell; a daughter, MissMarian Sprague of Lansing; a son, Theodore of Clinton,Tennessee; two sisters and three brothers. Services wereheld Saturday at 3 p.m. in Vermontville CongregationalChurch, with burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Funeral Services Held Saturday For Milton SpragueMilton Sprague 75, life long resident of Vermontville,passed away May 31st at the Roselawn convalescent Home inLansing.
He was born August 11, 1886 in Vermontville, the son ofErnest and Ezoa Potter Sprague. August 27, 1914 he wasmarried to Grace Eager at Howell. He was a member of theVermontville Congregational Church.
Surviving besides his wife is one son, Theodore Sprague ofClinton, Tennessee, one daughter, Miss Marion Sprague ofLansing; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Joy and Miss EvelynSprague both of Bradenton, Florida; three brothers, GeorgeClare of Bradenton, Edgar of Vineland, New Jersey, andStewart of New York City, New York.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2 at 3:00 pm fromthe Vermontville Congregational Church. Rev. H. B. Loomisand Rev. Edwin Clark officiated and burial was in Woodlawncemetery. [1]
