Henry James and Myra Cade lived in Colby for several years
They moved to Coloma Corners
In 1910, moved to Packwaukee and had a grocery store andmeat market.
Moved store and stock to Westfield (one year) and then backto Packwaukee - started a General Merchandise Store.
To Plover, had a General Store, where her mother made andsold hats.
To a farm at Hansen, near Vesper - one year
Purchased a hardware store in Hollandale and had anupstairs apartment
Bought a hardware store in New Lisbon - lived on a smallfarm close to Orange, between New Lisbon and Camp Douglas
Then moved to New Lisbon
Henry James sold his hardware store and built a two-storygrocery store and home, which was not finished when hedied..
He also had a route with a line of extracts, spices, soaps,etc.
Myra ran the store for a while after Harry's death.
George dated a young lady at Colby, when his parents livedthere, named Elsie Peterson. Her widower father moved toTexas and demanded that she go to care for the youngermotherless children.
Genevieve's sister, Celia, was enough older to be herteacher in school
They lived in Packwaukee after marriage in 1910, thenColby (Grandpa and Grandma Cole's house), where Natalie wasborn in 1911.

Worked in a restaurant in Packwaukee
A brakeman on the Valley Division of the railroad. Livedin New Lisbon

Worked on night duty for the railroad and later as daybaggage man.

The above are two of our most estimable young peopleand start out in married life with the brightest ofprospects. Harry is a sturdy young farmer and already hasa good home for his bride.
