  Notes	From Cindy Sprague, correspondent, note of March 28, 2010 Mrs. Kate Forehand, 88, of 124 W. Evans, Rice Lake, diedWednesday, November 17, 1971, at the Hughes Nursing Home,Barron. She was born January 14, 1883, in Indiana. As a small girlshe came to the Hillsdale area. In 1901 in Barron, shemarried James Forehand. They farmed in the Hillsdale area.He passed away in 1939. In 1950 she married AlvinCorderman. She was a member of the Assembly of God church. Surviving are her husband, Alvin; two daughters, Dorthy,Mrs. Freeman Kringle of Withee, and Lillian, Mrs. ArthurBranch of River View, Florida; six sons, Roy Forehand ofRice Lake, Victor, Roderick and Wayland Forehand ofHillsdale, and George Forehand of Minneapolis; brother,Howard Sprague of California; a host of grandchildren andgreat-grandchildren. Two children preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 20 at theAssembly of God church, Rice Lake with Rev. Andrew A.Eytzen officiating. Interment was in Wayside Cemetery.Rausch-Rockman Chapel, Barron, Handled the arrangements. [4]
