Comments by William G. Sprague:  I used to visit hereevery summer as a kid and play in the hay loft and pickmushrooms with my grandparents. I only remember one or twocows and the barn was in the same shape as it appears inthis photo. It is located on Cooper Street, Town of Vernon,Oneida County, NY.  As you can see, it was called theSummit Home Farm with the name of Geo. E. Sprague under thename. As I had previously mention, he purchased the farm in1912 from Charles Sassenbery and is still standing today. It was sold by Bessie Sprague after the death of herhusband Gordon H. Sprague.
